Hello, im Tiernan Anderson, owner of Son and Moon Services LLC. I started this business off of a risk that i’m forever glad I made. A month prior to starting the business I had no clue what I was going to do with my life, I was 17 years old and time was ticking for me to figure out a plan. The next couple of days I was looking for a job, when funny enough, I got my first ever job interview from Alsip Nursery in St. John. I got dressed up in a nice polo and rushed over right after school for the interview, I thought I would have gotten the job, but a couple of weeks later I still didn’t hear back from them. That’s when I took the risk and started doing landscaping, with prior experience it seemed perfect for me. The business started as a side hustle when I was 17 years old, doing small landscaping projects and cleanups in St. John and throughout the local area. Through consistent hard work, a focus on quality results, and ambition like no other I grew what was once a side hustle into a legit business. At 18 years old I built this company on the same values it started with, reliability, attention to detail, and great communication. Today we specialize in all sorts of landscaping projects, mulch and rock installs, cleanups, and general landscaping services. 17 year old me would not have been able to imagine how far this business has grown. I am forever grateful and blessed for every opportunity.
